Our Story

We createdTimekeeper Tales for families and educators who are searching for more than just stories—they’re looking for adventures rooted in truth, filled with wonder, and grounded in rich historical context. We wanted kids to be captivated by God's Word in a way that sparks their imagination while also teaching them real biblical history and values. So many faith-based resources feel outdated or overly simplified, and We knew there had to be a better way. This project was born from a desire to make the Bible come alive for children—combining storytelling, time travel, and purpose-driven characters to help kids see that God’s truth is exciting, relevant, and meant for them.

Sawyer Lane

Hi! I'm Sawyer Lane and I am your history teacher and story teller. I love to teach Bible Stories through history lessons. Alex is one of my students and I give him a little more knowledge about a time period that will allow him to better navigate the ancient worlds and peoples he visits. Each of the Timekeeper Tales are written by me after Alex comes back from his adventures. Keep watching, reading and learning so that you will be prepared for adventures too.

Grandpa Joe

I am Alex's grandfather. Every summer Alex comes to visit and stay in my big victorian mansion. We spend our days fishing, reading and exploring.This summer Alex came for a visit and I showed him the "Chronicles of the Eternal Clock." He was quit ready for the adventure he took. I used to jump into the old book myself when I was a kid now I enjoy showing it to Alex and listening to the adventures he has.

The Timekeeper

I am the Timekeeper and I do just that. I make sure that Alex is back on time. I help him navigate his adventures and allow him to jump in and out of the story just like I did with his Grandpa Joe when he was a kid.

Alex

Hi! I'm Alex. I spend every summer at my grandpa's house. I love looking through the attic seeing if I can find old baseball cards, books, stamps, really anything that is interesting. This year Grandpa Joe told me about the "Book" and I had my first adventure into the book. I was glad that Ms. Lane, my history teacher had taught me so much about ancient history or I would have been really lost. I can't wait to have another adventure.

Liberty

And this is Liberty that best teachers assistant ever. She hasn't gone on any adventures yet but she loves visiting all of Ms. Lanes students in the classroom. She often fetches pencils, paper and other things the students need.
